On becoming an artist

I am a sometimes artist that is on the journey to make art take up more of my time. This is something of a terrifying prospect. For 20 years I have pushed my art practice to the sidelines as I have wandered the planet, got degrees, started a new business, failed at a new business, raised a son and built a successful career. 

I work as Marketing Director for an NGO in Melbourne. Love my work but also want more time for me. To be more of me.

This is about making it more real. Giving art a solid base in my life. Going pro. It's going to take me a while but I am committed to working on it.
